An update for all Newcastle United supporters who would like a sensory viewing facility installed at their ground!
We have been in contact with Newcastle United, since September 28th 2015, about the idea/concept of The Shippey Campaign, offering to guide them in the right direction to provide a sensory viewing facility for those who need it.
Today we received an email saying:
‘NUFC are in the process of undertaking a full accessibility review, with the intention of complying with the Accessible Stadia Guide by August 2017’ and that we have ‘been reassured that in doing so, we will be considering the issue of a sensory room.’
This is great news!…and The Shippey Campaign will continue to remind the club that there are supporters to whom the stadium doors are closed currently.
Any Newcastle fans who want to email NUFC about this issue, can do that at steve.storey@nufc.co.uk or theshippeycampaign@gmail.com
