You may be aware that the first week in April is Autism Awareness week. So this week, The Shippey Campaign have a few irons in the fire!

Beginning with tomorrow, we have a couple of film interviews, one being with the North East Autism Society! On Wednesday, we have a meeting with representatives from the Premier League, and others (who we can’t reveal just yet!) who have given our campaign their full backing and are travelling up from London to meet us at our home ground, Sunderland AFC.

On Friday, we are looking forward to taking part in the Walk for Autism at Herrington County Park which is an event organised by the North East Autism Society. Please do come along and show your support…don’t forget to say hello to us if you’re there!

We are also writing a blog post for Level Playing Field, who, again are being incredibly supportive of our campaign. This post will be part of the Level Playing Field’s Week in Action for Autism Awareness Week!

Then…..on Saturday, not only will we be ‘wearing blue on April 2’, but we will be meeting staff from Globotv, based in Brazil as the news of our campaign has filtered through! There will be more filming at the stadium with more interviews for Brazilian TV networks!

So, you will see more about our ventures this coming week soon as we share our updates!…now, I’d better get cracking and get that post written!
