The North East Autism Society’s Walk For Autism

We had a wonderfully (freezing) morning today!

Having registered to take part in the Walk For Autism, we ran in last minute! Having three boys with Autism, it takes some getting out of the house!)

So, as we arrived it was a swift introduction to the Chief Executive, John Phillipson before I was whisked off to chat to a presenter from our local station Made in Tyne and Wear…leaving Peter to talk shop with John.

The turn out was amazing and although, like I said, it was freezing cold, we all trooped the mile hike and beamed as we got to the finishing line.

Our little advisors did very well, although one rode comfortably in a pushchair, one couldn’t make it to the end on foot and resorted to a carry from dad and one hobbled as best as he could to the end.

They were little stars!

Fabulous cause, fabulous event!
